I know over 80 commands, including sit, stay, roll over, crawl, potty, mini bark, jump, shake, sit on my lap, go left, go right and attack the gun. I love balls almost as much as I love Dave. I could fill a children’s ball pit with my collection. I stash them at home, at the office and all over the island. Bounding after a ball is the thrill of my life. I also have a trick: I drop a tennis ball in a pool. It floats around and then it comes back to me. I grab it my mouth, move over a few feet and repeat the trick again and again. Balls are magical. I am also a jumper. I once leapt over a woman on the beach to grab her kite as it launched into the air. Another time as Dave and I cruised around town, I hopped over him, precisely out the open car window, hit the ground, rolled a few feet, shook myself off and nearly caught the squirrel I had been eyeing before it ran up a tree. One of my greatest memories is swimming with dolphins. They were only a few dog paddles from the shore. I reached them quite easily, splashed around with them a while and then yelped as they swam out to sea, “Come back and play. I have a ball!” Molly enjoys time in the pool with her ball.
