He asked to take a friend’s new drone for a test drive and a better look at the beach near his home, and he was hooked. “It was such a cool perspective to see from above how the sandbars and the beaches are changing – especially at Station 29 where it had eroded.” A real estate agent, Ogden has always liked photography, but jumped in headfirst with his own new drone – he got an FAA drone pilot license, signed up for editing software and used YouTube videos to troubleshoot it all. “There are some great colors here, but when you take a picture with a camera and look at it afterwards, it doesn’t always look fantastic.
