Sullivan's Island Magazine Summer/Fall 2018
8 www.SullivansIslandMagazine.com | www.SullivansIslandHomes.com A Sculpture by the Sea “L ocation, location, location.” It’s the familiar real estate adage that just can’t be ignored. … even for the most eye-catching of structures. And the dome-shaped house on Sullivan’s Island indeed is eye-catching, in addition to having the perfect location, perfect state-of-the-art interiors and view – all meant to withstand the most perfect storm nature can concoct. Take it from Michael Royal of Pareto Group, LLC, who elaborated on the key attribute of the dome house: “One of the most appealing things about this property has actually By Helen Harris nothing to do with the structure itself but its particular location on the island. … If you travel west from this property on Front Beach, you’ll find that there’s a very large maritime forest that means that a lot of the other homes on the island don’t have a view of the ocean, even though they’re considered Front Beach. And if you travel east of this house, you have some homes that have some nice views, but they don’t really have good beach because it’s been eroded away. This property’s actually in the perfect spot on the island, where it has a little bit of vegetative barrier, but it has amazing views and really good access to the beach.” Photos cour tesy of Pareto Group.
